1-4-20   THOUGHTS

AS an ADOPTED CHILD, I want to be a good child, a submissive child. A child that bears fruit joyfully and lovingly in the NAME OF THE ONE WHO ADOPTED HIM!

2Thes 1:11-12    To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, 12  so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Cor 6:1-3     And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain —-  2  for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION" —  3  giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,
1Tim 6:12     Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called,  and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
2Tim 4:1-8   I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2  preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4  and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 5  But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 6  For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8  in the future there is  laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
2Cor 3:5  Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as [coming] from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,
2Cor 12:9   And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Eph 2:10   For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
I pray for us all, that 2021 will be a year of OUR SERVING THE LORD AND LIFTING UP THE NAME OF JESUS!    “behold, now is ‘THE DAY OF SALVATION’"

My Prayer:

Prepare our hearts Oh God for making a difference in the kingdom in the coming year!  We are your workmanship, bear fruit in us.  Our sufficiency is from you Oh Lord.  Work in us and through us.  Help us to be ready to give the answer of Jesus to this world.  Teach us to fight the fight of faith. Own us Oh God.         In Jesus name            Amen
